"Iโ€™ve only visited the Pacific Shores Motorcoach Resort which is a very nice park right on the bluffs with spectacular ocean views. We love it here and people are mostly very friendly."
  • Trulia User
"The beach. Trails. People really love dogs and animals here. It rains. A lot. To live here happily you need to embrace the rain and dress you and your dog for it. "
  • Conradable
"We love living here. Diverse demographics by age and origin. Friendly people and regulars that walk their dogs. Like most of Oregon, there are some homeless issues every once in a while. "
  • Crc715p
"Beware of strangers trying to pick up young kids as they walk to school. Vagrants and homeless abound. Fairly new threat to the community. Other than that itโ€™s okay to live here. Nice beaches and a couple of nice parks."
  • Ldr
"We live in the Beautiful Pacific Shores RV Resort. It is a beautiful setting overlooking the ocean. comfortable here"
  • Mgrace4
"Easy to get where you want to go on side streets. 101 is easy to navigate if you stay with the lights."
  • Dave B.
"We visit annually, itโ€™s a great place to visit. Good beach access, excellent restaurants, and a nice waterfront area."
  • Cancersurvivor5102013
"The view is nice certain months of the year. The Winter is difficult with high winds and rain. The Summer is great time for view of the Bay."
  • Davidcdaniels9
"Iโ€™ve lived here for six years and love it. Great walking. Above the tsunami zone. People who leave do so because of weather, but no snow and nearly constant temperatures are all I need. "
  • Hannah P.
"Many families in the area. Schools are good, teachers are GREAT! You get to know the people in the community very well in a short time. "
  • Kelly L.
"Itโ€™s all people who love rv travel and enjoy the lifestyle. We live in a motorcoach resort in Newport. It is beautiful and well manicured. People are friendly and look out for one another. We live on the outskirts of Newport so we are close but not in town. This is a owner site rv resort."
  • Juannabeme
"๐ŸŒŠThe Ocean... Could there be anything better? Or more? I canโ€™t say much about โ€œeventsโ€ on calendar. What I can guarantee is everyday, everyone is invited to the ocean here. The beaches along this specific part of Oregonโ€™s coast line cannot be missed! I feel like Iโ€™m at The greatest event every time I step foot on the sand. Every beach is even more amazing, more spectacular than the last!! Itโ€™s no specific time, no date- in fact you donโ€™t even need a โ€œdateโ€ solo will be just fine. Idk this time Iโ€™ve had with the ocean has impacted my life and I hope it does for anyone who comes this way ๐Ÿงœโ€โ™€๏ธ"
  • Eric H.
"While the pace is a little slower, there is plenty to do here, from endless outdoor activities, to community involvement, and the usual shopping and restaurants."
  • Donna A.
"We've lived here two years . Beautiful views of bay and bridge. Close to sweet little shops restaurants, famous places. People so laid back and friendly, helpful. Close to ocean if you want to go to the beach everyday. We're retired here, who could ask for more!!!"
  • soozpo
"This place is awesome. Go to the movies go to Starbucks, take a hike, enjoy the waterfalls, the Lighthouses and beautiful ocean and beaches."
  • Christie
"What a wonderful, quiet place to live! A caring neighborhood nestled right off the ocean in it's own little foresty area. Shaded roads to walk your dogs on, people who care and help in times of trouble. When my husband died, people I didn't even know were there to offer any help I needed. I miss those quiet streets, just a lovely, unique place to live. No one even knows Lost Creek Estates is there unless they happen to pull onto 130th off Hwy 101! You couldn't ask for a safer, wonderful place to own a home or raise a family!"
