The Magnet Cove school district as a whole has been disappointing for my family. We moved to this district from another state, and I expected differences. However, I could have never expected the curriculum to be as far behind as it is. The teachers-- in my experience-- are typically qualified, and I'd say that the elementary school is the best of the worst. My younger brother attends this elementary school, and it has been extremely difficult to deal with his rapidly declining mental health as he hates it so much. Try as they might, this district DOES NOT have the resources for special needs and/or neurodivergent children. You literally need a separate counselor all the way in Little Rock if your kid has autism. They don't have appropriate aids for students. All they offer is to accommodate a 504 at or an IEP at their BARE minimum (which sometimes they just don't).The bullying is also out of control in most cases. This is such a rural area that many kids don't have to deal with new people, or people different than them. Unfortunately, when matters of bullying are brought to the staff's attention, they are often completely ignored unless physical violence is involved. Even in such cases, they often reprimand the wrong individual.I understand that Arkansas has very poor education standards, but if you live in this area of certain schools (i.e. Magnet Cove, Malvern, Glen Rose, et.), it might be very worth it to consider homeschooling.

Great one of the best schools ever these teachers will actually work with you and care about you as if you where there child.
