We would not recommend this school for the following reasons:No progress in our special needs child's education. In fact, I believe she has forgotten some of what she had learned previous to attending this school.Frequent absences recorded and later held against us even though they were ordered by the teachers and school nurse. The children often did not seem sick when sent home and told not to attend the next day.Unsafe activities allowed. Apparently, the pre-K children were daring one another to jump from the playground. Our son broke his foot. We were told the children did this daily and were not discouraged from it by teachers.Much mutual fighting among the children in pre-K. It seemed as if our child was targeted for fault. Behavioral therapy was suggested and we complied. The principal became increasingly rude and condescending to both pre-K age son and his father at morning drop-off. Reason unclear.Both of our children were denied for the new school year. Explanation was not sufficient. Son, reason said to be "behavior and absences". Again, absences were school-ordered. Behavioral therapy was complied with. From what I understand, all the other pre-K children in trouble for fighting are still in attendance. It has caused us to speculate that the principal just dislikes our son. Special needs daughter, reason cited also as "behavior and absences". Absences were ordered by the school. As far as we are aware, our daughter has not had any behavior related issues. We believe this is a case of discrimination against her for her condition and for her brother's behavior.Discrimination. As suggested in the previous point, we believe this school, or the principal herself at the very least, makes decisions based on discrimination and personal feelings.You are welcome to use our experience as a cautionary tale since it seems to show that this school is overrated and most likely not worth the legal action that we are considering.

After multiple counts of bullying, speaking with principal, and the AD due to other students blocking the restroom entry, to being told by the teacher in class to get the divider up for your test due to your disability, to a coach giving extra running, etc., for asking a question- we were advised to sue the school....we just decided to leave, and make our concerns known to the school board.
