Poor leadership. No understanding of ethics, psychosocial support, or child development. This board of leaders does not care about your children, only their ego and social status. What an injustice to the Brookings community. I’m so sorry to all students and the lack of educational and social support they receive.l for leadership. What a disgrace.

I love the people in this school, and the school supports my learning style, but with the new schedule change I won't have art classes or be able to avoid study hall, which is bad for me. Art helps me with my ADHD and study hall sto too quiet for me to deal with, and I don't work well around people in that setting, which is why I've signed up for several activities to avoid Student Improvement time, in vain. When I talked to the principal about being able to do something different with SI, anything, even helping with the office or the librarian, who's hard of sight, he shrugged and told me I'd have to deal with it. I asked if I could at least wear my headphones for background noise, but he again turned me down. Several other students have made requests like this, and all were turned down. I don't like this school much.

Coming from a small school in a town of less than 800 people, I was very nervous about sending my children to a larger district. In a very short amount of time, any worries I had were put to easy by the amazing staff and administration at this school. Not only to they notice things it took the small schools years to address, but they come up with a plan to try to correct any issues right away.

discriminatory school, should put effort towards discouraging this practice in a town that has around 15% diversity!
