I graduated from this high school just after the Covid epidemic. The school enviroment provided a lot of opportunity and an diverse set of classes. Ideally, the school was meant to set you up for college. However, the biggest downside was the counseling, which was always hard to work with or even get an appointment to. They should have also encouraged more hands on experience for how to apply to colleges or financial aide in the futute. Otherwise, the teachers were all quite supportive, and student engagement with clubs were incredibly high.

Excellent staff starting with the principal. We came from a nearby charter school and found the excellect education for our children here at a public school. Absolutly the best kindergarten teachers around (we have 4 kids). There is a positive feeling at this school, teachers and parents are friendly and positive. It's great that people still greet each other with "Good Morning" and how are you! Great school for special needs also...again, starting with the principal and carried out by every teacher on this campus. Great Job Ponderosa!
