This school has amazing extracurricular activities to choose from: archery club, running club, bible club, cooking club, Zumba, basketball (has one of the State of New Mexico’s top rated basketball coaches), choir club, free after school tutoring, just to name a few. The principals advocate for families and fight for students to receive the best education whatever that might look like, they definetly work to think outside the box and improvise for the children. There are amazing teachers who have a compassionate heart for teaching and care about the children. The community events at the school bring people together and create positivity for the neighborhood. Be lucky to find this gem of a school within such a large public school system!

Absolutely not do not come to this school I am a former student here and this school did nothing absolutely nothing to stop bullying and harassment I reported it multiple times I even went to aps and even they didn’t do anything I was harassed daily by 4 different friend groups and one singular girl made threats against me and I went to the principal and she told me it was my fault for going near her when we had multiple same classes and did nothing to switch them out and then this girl fought me and the principal told me it was my fault again even though I was snuck up on and I never even spoke to this girl or anything

We left a higher rated school due to bullying, teacher inadequacies and principle unresponsiveness. I regret not moving my child earlier. My daughter has thrived since the move. We were worried due to rating sites like this one. I am very glad we did not go by what we saw/read here.
