Chaney as a whole really needs to do better .I've received multiple pictures and videos from my son of him being the only kid in a class and even sometimes with no teacher present.He asked me, why does he need to go to school?If no one's there.Most of the teachers do not care. No one really takes anything serious there.We do love coach marlan and the girls basketball coach, that's about it. Absolutely no communication from the teachers unless my child is skipping class .When I try to email teachers, I get absolutely no response. Principles never in the office and not available.

There is no rating low enough. Poor leadership has driven McGuffey k-8 into the ground.

This school is a very great opportunity for when you move on to high school. This school is very rigorous and effective. They honestly test you on you academic strength. When you make it through elementary and middle you have an opportunity to go to the high school. When accepted to high school classes will be accelerated, instead of one year for one grade it is one year for two grades. In 11th and 12th grade you will be able to then go be entered into college classes where you will then graduate with your associates degree.
