"Quiet area in active summertime area. Close to beach, grocery store, parks, amusement park, shopping and restaurants, as well as summer concerts and other events. Still a nice quiet and serene area."
  • 7rtf7tydqs
"Few children in this neighborhood. Good for adults and retirees. This area not so much for children. "
  • Rob Mildish
"I work from home. When I travel to work the Portland Jetport is a great airport and easy in and out. "
  • Jeanette Johnson
"Dog owners would like that they see other dog owners walking their dogs and there’s plenty of space. "
  • Rob Mildish
"Lots of dog walkers, and lots of friendly dogs. In the off-season, there’s nothing like letting the dog run on the beach."
  • Shannonbarnivle
"Relatively quiet in off season. Very busy in summer months. Nice trails for dog walking or kicking. "
  • Trulia User
"Free to roam the beach a certain hours. Many areas to rent with dogs. Trash and dog bags ..............😉😉🐕🐕🐕🦮🐶"
  • Bonnie G.
"I really don't know much about the neighborhood because of changes during the winter in the summer it's so crowded and happy and all kinds of things going on but in the winter it's very quiet you barely see anybody and just different. "
  • Hlwizboski
"Family like setting! Living by the sea. Having the freedom of going into the heart of Portland with it being a short drive away."
  • Cherylsessions86
"They would like walking their dog on the beach. dThey would also enjoy the dog park and the fact that there are lots of dog owners."
  • 2boaters
"Wr are visiting for four days an staying at a RV campground. There are lots of restaurants around. It is close to other ares of interest like Portland and Kennebunkport. It is a tourist trap."
  • Debbie_asif
"Unusually quiet neighborhood for Old Orchard, One mile from Ocean Park Beach. Nearby Ferry Beach and Camp Ellis with easy access to I-95."
  • Proncallo
"Great place to spend your summers in. Lack of Natural gas make heating expensive if occupying in winter."
  • maine392
"Convenient to highway, close to some of the most beautiful beaches in New England. Seven miles of beautiful sandy, walkable, beaches. Safe area, safe, good quality schools. Pretty neighborhood. Many restaurants and much family or single-oriented entertainment. 15 minute drive to Portland. Would move here again if I had to make the choice! "
  • Linda
"It's a beautiful area of the ocean, just outside the honky-tonk of downtown Old Orchard Beach, where families have lived/vacationed for generations and are proud of the heritage there. Just a couple of small shops and restaurants but close to more choices down in OOB proper and just a half-hour from the bustle of Portland. It's peaceful and relaxed and unhurried as a way of life in Ocean Park, and the people who live there are lucky to be doing so!"
