I love this school. If you are looking for a school with a small town feeling then this is it! The Principle knows every kids by name along with most parents that come in regularly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My daughter has been here for 5 years and my son 3 years. There have been some minor frustrations with teachers over the years which is normal but there are some of the best teachers here. They have some great intervention programs. The PTA is very active and loves to put on events/programs. They are switching their testing styles next year so please don't judge them fully by these negative comments below from years ago. Do research and visit the school.

My son is a 5th grader from Westwood elementary and he is going to the school and I think he and his friend is going to have a really good time here I looked at the reviews and they seem good so he's going to this Middle School

This school is NOT safe at all. There are gangsters in the dirty restrooms that turn the restrooms into a smoking lounge, I've never seen anyone genuinely use the restrooms except for the port-a-potty. There could be a literal murder in the bathroom and security won't care. This is genuinely a horrid school. Some of the teachers genuinely care but most of them just give you a packet. Campus security should start doing their job by checking the restrooms during lunch to actually CHECK if anyone's being hurt but we all know that's not going to happen, they'd rather sit in the atrium and talk with the female students. I'd give this school a 1 but I appreciate SOME of the teachers that actually do their job.
