"My neighborhood is close to public transportation, the neighbors are great, the town is amazing with tons of community activities. The restaurant are locally owned with amazing food and the big corporate stores are clean with locals that live in the area that know you by name. I was suggest to everyone to move their family up here. Also, the rent is cheaper up here than it is in a big public city. it’s quiet.. One other thing is close to beaches, which is my favorite thing of all time."
  • Louis Thomas Jr.
"Great place to start a family and start you ur career. Lots of things are coming back to Saginaw for family entertainment "
  • Pinternists
"Not great for raising kids. Major issues include crime, drugs, minimum outdoor activities for kids and lack of good fine dining options. "
  • Emily Beck
"Don’t have kids yet so can’t really answer that but a good place to live. Neighbors are very friendly and people care about the street"
  • Trulia User
"That the library & historical museum is there. Also Rally's & other attractions are close by. The local police are nearby as well. The Dow Event Center & Temple Theater is in walking distance."
  • kavar taylor
"the commute is most usually terrible always some type of construction or detour but somehow nothing gets fixed "
  • Trulia User
"Monthly neighborhood meetings. Events thru out the summer, huge trick or treating! There is a tug of war, ice cream social, rummage sales, pot lucks, neighborhood watches."
  • Trulia User
"very cute and quaint area hidden just off of Court street. Very Active Neighhood association and a TON of family friendly events all year long. well maintained and safe. highly trafficked for families walking outside in summer time. Respectful people and respectful walkers. "
  • Trulia User
"Proximity to downtown (8 blocks), theater district, sports arena, outdoor concert and event space and riverfront. "
  • Trulia User
"My neighborhood is only blocks from downtown. The theater district, arena, and outdoor event parks are a scant eight blocks away. Along with the farmers market and restaurants these venues are a quick walk from the neighborhood. The Belle Iron Trail meanders along the river and borders the neighborhood. Ojibway Island , zoo and Hoyt Park anchor the southern end of the Cathedral District. "
  • Williamwhite05
"It’s pretty quiet honestly it is not a bad area like most people say it is I’ve been living here for at least five years have not had a problem "
  • Ryan S.
"Walking distance to schools, parks, tennis and basketball courts, twp offices, police, fire, and library. Leafy and quiet, minutes from the countryside."
  • Roesamoht
"Your dogs, catsby neighbors dogs. They're used to breed and fight. My neighbors do it all the time. Four houses that I know of. Cops and humane society won't do anything."
