6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe overview says that Westwood Jr High is a great school due to the AP courses, but I am here to say that isn't quite true. Many students are aggressive and toxic towards each other, showing no manners or kindness that their parents taught them. Both 7th and 8th graders are instigators and have absolutely zero decency/decorum. The teachers can't teach the children in their classroom and complain about how they don't get paid enough for sitting around and being on their phones. The principals are very aggressive, they drag problems from 1 month ago into the conversation with a hoard of students talking as if each of them has a megaphone and the bathrooms are worst than the sewage at Trinity River. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a 7th grader of this school, I can truly say that I think this school is amazing there is plenty of diversity and everyone is mostly will give you a chance. The teachers can really be a hit or miss but all of my 8 teachers are kind and caring. I see that most of the reviews of this school are not resent at all and I think that's a little unfair. the staff is not much different from the teachers and they do really care about their mask policy for their staff and kids. the dress code isn't strict at all just as long as your not showing your stomach, back, chest, and undergarments your good. If you think that the students were rude because they didn't talk to you just know that a lot of students have their own little friend group. Please give this school a chance and if you decide that its not your cut of tea then thats okStudent Review4y ago
