About this House

Stately farm house with some of the original character still intact! Huge eat in kitchen where everybody congregates! One of the bathrooms has a claw foot bathtub! Also has 2 - two car detached garages. Both are insulated, drywalled and have electric. One even has heat in it. Great for a car guy or wood working enthusiast. Also has a 1 1/2 car shed with a gravel floor that has a gravel driveway to it. And a garden shed with a wood floor. A lot of the windows have been replaced and some were left because of their ambience. 3/4 + acre on nice corner lot.

    "I dislike living in Decatur. The only good thing about it so far is that it is cheap to live here, but I do not feel safe when I'm out of the house. I constantly have to worry if my car will be stolen or vandalized while I'm not paying attention. I constantly hear gunshots at night, emergency vehicle sirens, noisy train horns, people getting into loud arguments and fistfights, it seems like it never stops. The air in Decatur reeks like cheap dog food if you're lucky, and like a wastewater treatment plant if you're not."
