"Very walkable area with a wonderful independent coffee shop, movie theater, restaurants and antique shops. Parking is easily accessible on the street. I lived here several years and rarely had an issue finding parking. "

"I love Ghent! I appreciate the small restaurants and eclectic, artsy people I have around me. There are many parks and I feel like my daughter is safe within this area. Schools are mediocre at best. But there are plenty of private schools. I send my daughter to public schools, but she’s in a special program designed for gifted kids. "

"Incredibly walkable area. Multiple groceries, bars/restaurants, shops, and churches within walking distance. Lots of people born and raised here, but lots of transplants as well here for the Navy, EVMS, and ODU. Lots of cultural diversity in terms of people and food. "
