One of the best schools I ever attended! Most of the teachers I had I loved and I learned a great deal from, although I do have to take one point off because there were a few rotten apples for teachers in this school when I was there. Most of the students are respectful and open minded towards others so that's another plus for this school. So in short I loved #2 School and I miss going there!

My son completed pre-k and is going to kindergarten next year. His pre-k teachers were excellent and he learned so much this year. HIs teachers were creative and nurturing and the children thrive in this structured learning environment.This school is only for Pre-K & K kids. and had excellent facilities including an art room, village (with grocery store) & indoor & playgrounds. Bus driver was friendly and attentive. We were encouraged to contact the teachers with comments/concerns and they were responsive, friendly and helpful. We are completely satisfied with every aspect of this school for our son and are looking forward to his year in kindergarten.

Teachers are nice but the staff in main office is never helpful if you call about any concern about your child or any other matter . Most of the time they don't even answer your questions nicely. Every school have some rules and regulations I understand and respect but if someone call about something don't tell them you can't do that or you are not suppose to do that , tell them you can't do this but this is what I can do instead. For example you need to talk to the teacher and it's urgent and you called at the office they will say I can't do this the teacher is in class ok I understand but they can say right now teacher is in class but I'll give your message and teacher will call you back. Even sometimes you leave the message no one give the message to teacher .These are the issues that this school really need to take care of.

This school is great, they provide you with the best education possible and do as much as they can, the only problem is they have to improve stopping bullies. Even with the pandemic the online learning is going great!#lawrencemiddleschool#2020#remotelearning

This is the greatest school ! My grandparent , my parents , my children and myself are all products of Lawrence - I also switched them out and put them back in - I buckled and listened to my peers , instead of goin with my gut! When goin to college fairs Colleges roll out the red carpet when they hear you are from Lawrence - Lawrence is the real world , diverse , but the kids LOVE IT and the parents should learn from the kids - The other great thing about Lawrence is the young foward thinking teachers and administrators GO TORNADOES !
