8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHi former student here (left after 4 grade and also class of 2030 so I remember much) The school is nice and everyone is very kind, lunch was okay, but my problem with this school was that; by the time I was in 4 grade I still didn't know how to do long division(I learnt it in 5 grade at another district)and also the fact that I felt a bit left out from the other students since I'm not white(thankfully I knew better and still eat my tacos)Additionally, there are more fun activities the learning activities Which is actually bad and I prefer learning ( I value my education more) Also I feel like they only prioritize white kids since looking back at old photos.I'm conclusion, if you want your kid to be happy every day because of the activities they are always doing, and try to tell them want they learned today, but forgot because of activities then this school is for youOther Review8mo ago - Richardson High School

This school is more diverse and most of the students treat everyone with kindness and respect. The teachers are amazing and the whole admin staff and principal show that they really care about their students. It's a special place that is welcoming and my kid looks forward to going to school. School doesn't seem to have big cliques with students, kids, and faculty as seen with our elementary so that has been refreshing. The classes can be challenging and there is some homework. My kid travels to this magnet school by bus even though our feeder school is a couple blocks away. Way worth it!Parent Review1y ago - Parkhill Junior High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a 7th grader of this school, I can truly say that I think this school is amazing there is plenty of diversity and everyone is mostly will give you a chance. The teachers can really be a hit or miss but all of my 8 teachers are kind and caring. I see that most of the reviews of this school are not resent at all and I think that's a little unfair. the staff is not much different from the teachers and they do really care about their mask policy for their staff and kids. the dress code isn't strict at all just as long as your not showing your stomach, back, chest, and undergarments your good. If you think that the students were rude because they didn't talk to you just know that a lot of students have their own little friend group. Please give this school a chance and if you decide that its not your cut of tea then thats okStudent Review4y ago
