This school is fantastic. The teachers, staff, administrators really demonstrate that they care about kids. My daughter was reading really well within two months of starting kindergarten. We moved to Canfield almost entirely for the schools from Hamilton NJ. We don’t regret that decision. Their handling of COVID protocols and swift/smart standing up of a virtual academy has to be a case study in how to do things the right way in a pandemic. Smart, caring people in this school district. We are extremely grateful.

This school was so awesome. There are so many opportunities and nice people here, I loved going everyday. While I wish they made some opportunities more apparent, if you try to find them, you can, which can lead to an awesome high school experience and set up the rest of your life! I loved all the teachers so much, I really enjoyed going to school everyday; all the teachers are also so knowledgeable and seem to love teaching! While I did get a little bullied, I found really good people to call my friends which made it so I didn’t really care at all and eventually stopped getting bullied! I’m so glad I went here!!

My experience with this school is great! I see that others are saying they haven't treated everyone fairly, but everyone at that school really cares about one another and is always willing to sacrifice and make changes. Teachers actually care and like their job. I have always felt safe there, since the police are right next to us and in the building. They also try to include family as much as possible when they have events.The counselor reached out to me and my family when my mother died and so did my teachers, which at the time meant a whole lot. Yes, like with everything Canfield has had their bumps. Teachers have also tried making learning fun and exciting. I have met so many great people and friends here. If you're thinking about enrolling your kid, it will be one of the best things you do for them.
