Very poor, I wouldn't recommend the school district. They're all about White and Asian students.

When my son was in special Education at the highschool they stuck him in a computer room with no supervision or other students. He left school once and got injured. They didn't even notice he was gone. When I called them about it they punished him for leaving school and didn't bother trying to make excuses for him leaving and not a single person noticing. They undermined my sons chances at getting an education and didn't properly follow his IEP. They didn't look into what they could do to help him succeed with his particular disability, since it wasn't common like ADHD or dyslexia they basically threw up their hands and took the state money for his attendence. They utterly and completely failed at offering at complying with ADA regulations. Their "accommodations" secluded my child instead of offering him inclusion. They not only didn't offer him an equal education they failed to have an instructor with him at all and expected he do any work on his own. There were no teachers in the room with him. Sending your kid to school there's an expectation that they'll taught the same things as other students. Most highschool kids couldn't be left alone in a computer room and educate themselves, that's what teachers are for. It didn't help that it's a high income area and I am a single mother on the SSI minimum. They discriminated against him bc of both of our disabilities while at the same time using teacher language at meetings and making goals and plans that did not in fact match the reality of what a school is supposed to do. I had high hopes going into that district since they seemed to have a stellar record. They have that record because they push kids with disabilities out and encourage them to leave school to keep their numbers and false reputation up. Big tip: if your kids disability is anything other than ADHD don't send them there. Do whatever you can to get your child into somewhere that will actually work with them. This place is awful.

Slingerlands has come a long way since it opened its doors. although i am not a parent of a slingerland student i have heard nothing but wonderful things.
