Monroe Elementary has been a wonderful entry into the school environment for our five year old granddaughter. Although shy and timid at first, it did not take long for her to blossom. She regularly talks about her wonderful teacher and all the excitement, especially generated in the area of literature. School assemblies are a favorite, and family nights have been a great link between school and home. We have heard wonderful things about the custodian and how he takes care of the school. The bus driver makes her feel special because; "She knows when I have a cold and asks how I feel." The secretary takes care of her bee stings and always calls home to remind Mom if she forgets to tell her about a field trip or upcoming event. How special to meet the principal at the dump and he knows your name. As an educator myself, I am very impressed with this wonderful school family. Thank you to all of you for making the beginning of the school experience so positive.

Unsafe for any child unless the parent works for the distract. This school is so bad it should be closed. A text book example of why school of choice is not only a good idea but an absolute necessity.
