7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei’m so glad this is my last year… like this school is absolute poop. the teachers are great, most of them are really good and are great at teaching. a lot of the issue is the curriculum. it just doesn’t have good lessons and isn’t very informational or helpful. i also believe a lot of the issue is the students. a lot of kids are very involved with drugs and aren’t very respectful to teachers and other students. there are a lot of fights. in class sometimes it’s hard to get things done because kids keep acting up and being disrespectful. i don’t believe it’s the teacher’s lack of classroom management fault, but the administration at this school… cough cough the principals.. they do absolutely nothing. they are a reason a lot of teachers quit/want to quit. teachers have literally told me that they love the school but hate the administrators because they do literally nothing to help students nor teachers. teachers cant send kids to the office if they are bad because the admin won’t do anything besides send them back to class. i don’t know what the principals are doing all day that is more important than making sure their students are getting the education they deserve, but alcott needs a new head principal specifically because she does not do anything to help the faculty or students. anyways this school kinda sucks oh wellStudent Review2y ago - Truman Elementary School

I was warned about this school before my daughter started there because it was so large but I can tell you as a substitute teacher there and as a parent, the school is a wonderful place for my daughter to get her education.
