This is the first year my daughter has gone to this school. So for a child, being the new kid is hard enough but, on top of it she started being bullied by another group of students starting from DAY TWO. Just like the other review states, I have gone to the teachers and have been told “I don’t hear anything” or “she needs to be the one to report it” . They won’t even listen unless the student comes forward immediately and even after that, I’m told “we will just move seats”. It is now towards the end of the year and my daughter continues to come home upset daily. Secondly, the teachers my daughter has are really no different than the students (in regards to how they treat her). They have no problem singling her out, YELLING at her in front of her peers and saying very unprofessional personal things to her. I have requested an in person parent/teacher conference (in regards to academics and classroom behavior) since September and have been told by the teacher that they will only do a phone call. Which has yet to happen. My daughter has never missed a day of school for anything other than true illness. She actually wakes up in the morning complaining that her stomach is twisting. This is now effecting her physically as well as emotionally. On top of everything else, they only get 1 recess during a long day and if they do anything out of the norm (minor kid stuff) they loose their recess. I want my daughter to enjoy school and be a kid as long as she can. These teachers need to be held accountable PERIOD.I can’t wait for this school year to be over AND THATS PRETTY SAD

"We live here and are at the end of a culdesac. The neighborhood is full of working class people who go to bed early. There is rarely any noise past 10pm. Our neighbors are friendly and the kids love to gather in the yard and play together. We have amazing sunsets and have beautiful clear starry nights! "

"I've lived here most of my life! I love my town! Great schools, great neighbors, quiet, small town vibe. Yards are upkept and clean. Small grocery store Brookshires is nice, they offer carry out service with all purchases big and small. "

"i have lived in this area for over 20 years, people care about one another here, they stop to help, they rally around when something goes wrong, they look out for each other. Joshua is close to many parts of the metroplex yet, it's quiet and peaceful. Safe, caring."

"What a nice quiet street this is. I was shocked to find this street that seems sort of secluded. A lot of vacant land behind these homes and only a few on the street. Seems everyone gets a long and enjoys each other. I am very strongly leaning to a property on this street. yards are large and there is a lot of animals around included allowing for farm animals. How wonderful."
