Description

What a rare find in historic and trendy downtown Kingman! This beautifully restored Cape Cod was built by The Lovin & Withers Company in 1910. Boasting 2100 square feet, this two-story home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, main floor laundry, large living room and dining room, and plenty of usable basement space not counted in the square footage. And it is built on one of downtown Kingman’s largest lots, .31 acres.
The kitchen is the heart of any home, and this roomy and open gourmet kitchen is sure to impress. The floor-up renovation maintains historic charm while including all the modern amenities a new kitchen should have. Features include custom cabinetry with soft-close hinges, pull-out shelves and spice rack, sliding silverware tray, glass doors, in cabinet and below cabinet lighting, all topped off with high end beautiful Cambria Quartz countertops. Gather around the large island with space for seating, built-in stainless-steel dishwasher and microwave, liquor cabinet and wine rack. The Elmira Stove Works vintage inspired 6 burner gas range will wow your dinner guests. The large cast-iron sink with drain board puts the finishing touches on this amazing kitchen.
Unique features like indirect lighting above crown molding, an Art Deco Baccarat chandelier, and a front door from Phyllis Diller’s estate are just a few of the many characteristics that set this home apart. The upstairs bathroom is charming with its original 1930s look and feel. The master bathroom is newly renovated but still carries plenty of vintage appeal. The interior living space was finished off with new paint throughout, plush carpet in the bedrooms, new hardwood in kitchen and dining room, and original hardwood in foyer, living room and upstairs hallway. Upgrades include electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and added attic insulation. The exterior was upgraded with durable Hardie fiber cement siding, and the whole home was freshly painted in 2018.
Downtown Kingman is undertaking a revival and this home is right in the middle of the action. It is a short walk to bars, restaurants, shops, boutiques, museums, and parks. Enjoy the vibe of historic downtown Kingman in this one-of-a-kind home.

  • Hkunz93308
"There’s a huge “hotrod” crowd, not just the ones in the magazine, but cars that people have kept alive by the residents. Mild climate relative to Phoenix and Denver."
  • Anitalynriggins
"A lot of people walk their dogs, kids ride their bikes, and it’s been a pretty safe neighborhood. There are a lot of dogs that bark all night"
  • Anitalynriggins
"People walk their dogs all the time here, I do actually see kids riding their bikes and playing, or selling lemonade on the corner"
  • Joni Sharp
"Very quite safe area, we all watch out of each other. Been here over 6 years and have the best neighbors ever. "
  • Trulia User
"my neighborhood is well maintained. there are stores nearby and good job opportunities. also there are sports available for children."
  • Cynthia T.
"I lived out of city limits for 6 years. Kingman was once a little town with Stockton Hill Road once being two lanes and all dirt. In coming back now after a 3 year absence, I can't say I am much impressed. The drug problem is still widespread, Birdland looks worse than ever, and houses are being built as fast and as close together as possible. But where are good paying jobs? Where are cultural experiences? Where is diversity? Where is industry and city planning? Kingman has potential, but the sudden influx of those fleeing California shows the town is growing out, not up. Kingman needs long range goals to retain its new residents and attract others. I hope the next time I visit for a sustained period of time that I feel better about this town. "
  • Edie I.
