1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageToday was my daughter's first day at this school. She transferred from Lufkin rd middle in Apex. I really wish she could have stayed there. So we walked in the office and was not acknowledged. I stood at the counter while 3 women were on the computer trying to figure something out. After 5 mins of me standing there, one of them finally asked me how can they help me. They didnt seem friendly at all. My child and I didn't feel welcomed. In all we waited around 30 mins just to get her schedule printed out. And when thd receptionist finally gave us the schedule she addressed my daughter as a boy!!!! I found that very disrespectful. They were very unorganized and not on one accord. The faculty was literally all over the place. Everyone waiting was very frustrated. But moving along...Lets talk about the appearance of the school. The grass wasn't cut, there are dead flowers in the flower pots, vines growing up the walls of the buildings, and bushes that need trimming very badly. There was a teacher outside pulling weeds from a flower pot as we walked by, leaving dry dirt all over the ground. I did not want to leave my baby at this school. She cried as she was walking away to go to class. I really thought this school was going to be decent. I shouldve read the reviews. I didn't see any kids happy or smiling. They all seemed aggravated. I will definitely look into getting my daughter transferred ASAP!!!!Parent Review8mo ago28 Reviews - Millbrook High

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI taught here for about a year and a half a while ago and this is easily the worst school ive been a part of in my 10 year career so far. The head principal does not care whatsoever for his teachers, gives no time off, no forgiveness for medical emergencies, and no willingness to work with you if you need to deal with a sick family member even if you're willing to take unpaid time off since the school gives you next to nothing and expects you to be there no matter what. The training programs offered are ran by absolutely clueless teachers making any teacher new to the school absolutely clueless on what their expectations are in the classroom. There's constantly unsupervised students roaming the halls and hiding in the bathrooms as well but if you report them to the principal youre in trouble for not taking care of it yourself. If you can avoid this school please do at all costs, your child doesnt deserve to go to such a hate filled place!Teacher Review3mo ago18 Reviews - Abbott's Creek Elementary School
