7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGHMS has been an answer to prayer. Both of our kids have attended grades 6-8 and I don't know of a better academic team (from the principal down) for middle schoolers. The teachers make learning fun, and invest in the kids' experiences. The administration actively works to keep the school and community connected. It was the launch pad for my oldest's journey to one of SC's Governor's Schools. They hold Parent University sessions/parent nights that educate the parents on topics from mental, academic and emotional/social points of view. Can not say enough positive about this amazing group of adults investing in our next generation.Parent Review4mo ago23 Reviews - Fort Mill High School

"Yes, dogs are well liked in the neighborhood. We have doggie “bags” so pet owners can be responsible. Every one seems to enjoy meeting neighbors dogs and they watch out for them…just like children! "

"It’s a very fast growing bedroom community of Charlotte. Very different than it was ten years ago. The roads, schools, and retail are struggling to keep up with the influx. The new neighborhoods are attractive but it’s a shame how developers are allowed to clear cut acres and acres of forest to build them."

"Not so bad it’s about 30 minutes to most areas in Charlotte. Traffic can get hectic in the morning coming onto 485. But there are a lot of access points from here. "
