4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are a military family, and we moved to the area in 2024. The school has an awesome faculty and staff. They are all welcoming and assured me that my child would thrive academically here. We heard many things about the school before enrolling; however, we took a chance on it, which was the best decision we could have made. My kids love this school, and I am so thankful because it made our transition here so smooth.Parent Review1y ago9 Reviews - Russell Co Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI moved to Mount Olive Primary from another local school and moving was the best decision I could have made for my child. Since moving to Mt. Olive he is excelling in his academics and looks forward to going to school everyday. The teachers are all loving and friendly. I have not had a bad experience of any kind at Mt. "There is not a lot of traffic running up and down the roads. There isn’t a lot of loose dogs running around either, most of the neighbors walk them on leases "

"It evokes a sense of being part of a group and feeling connected to others. The only thing that I would encourage is that dog owner pick up behind their selves.. "

"The public transportation in Phenix city needs improvement. You must have a car or be willing to pay for Uber if you live in Phenix City. Traffic is not bad and it is quick to get around from place to place. "

"I have lived in smiths for 15 years I love the calmness of it and the quite peaceful place. And the trees are peaceful and so pretty. The schools are safe and take precautions with the students "

"Lots of dogs. And they bark constantly. And when I say lots of dogs, I mean it sounds like a dog pound outside. I’ve seen lots of kids around the neighborhood. Seems safe enough for them to be out and about playing in the streets. "

"Phenix city does not have covenants to protect you from seeing their junk everywhere! Also, around our home, most people do not have their dogs fenced in so you have to be careful while out walking or jogging. There isn’t a place to really take your pets either. Other than that, I have sweet neighbors close to our age who all have children at different ages and we feel safe in our home. "

"Smiths is a great area to live in with a low crime rate. The school systems are great as well. I would recommend this instead of Phenix City and Columbus. "
