About this House

4 bedroom, 2 bathroom custom built and modernly updated home in Vandercook Lake, MI, nestled on a fenced in half acre. House faces Vandercook Lake, with fishing, swimming and park access steps away. Watch the sunset or storms passing through on the 3rd floor balcony. 2100+ square feet of living space, with a basement (access through garage), and finished attic space off of master suite. 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor and 1 large master suite on the second. Each bedroom has a walk in, oversized, custom made closet. Kitchen is open concept with modern appliances, range microwave, dishwasher, stove and refrigerator. 2.5 car attached garage. Shed. The sweetest neighbors ever. New roof in 2012. Laminate flooring on entire first floor and carpeting on the second. Laundry room on first floor with a utility tub. The room is set up for a stackable washer and dryer, not included. Main cottage (first floor) of the home was built in 1948, with additions added in the 1990's. We loved living here, but we were both transferred to Ann Arbor for work. Made the commute for 6 years and once we had kids we weren't able to anymore. This house has been rented out for the last 3 years--we have so much interest in people wanting to live here, so this would be an awesome rental income, too!

The house will need siding repair, nailing down the cedar siding, and replacement in some areas, which is reflected in the cost. Upstairs carpeting is worn as well. Upstairs bathtub was in the middle of getting new tile on the front and will need to be finished as well. House being sold as is, which is reflected in the low price. The inside is mostly done, the roof is done, now the exterior is waiting for you to finish it.
