I went to Ionia Public Schools all through K-12 and had a great experience. I felt that I was more than prepared for success during my undergrad, masters program, business career and life in general. I was dual-enrolled through the affiliated community college (for free) my senior year and never had to take a college English class! The teachers, staff and admin care about the kids and families of the community. I love this district so much that we moved back home after college and are raising our three children here. Bottom line is this - you get what you put into your studies, education and schooling.

I Love Boyce Elementary! It has been eight years that I have had children in Boyce and look forward to the next four years. Even with changes in budget, Boyce keeps the quality of teaching their number one priority. I have so much confidence in the staff to not only provide a safe environment, but also to impact my four children s elementary years in a positive way.

The principal at this school runs it like a military establishment. The vice principal feels she should be everyone's pal. Most teachers seem to be caring but have their favorites. Punishment is generally harsh unless your family is one of the "elites." Learning scores are rather low as is motivation among the students. Poor middle school.
