As a parent of three children at this school, I am continually in awe of the incredible sense of community among both teachers and fellow parents. It's truly the best! The learning environment strikes a perfect balance—challenging kids academically while still allowing them to enjoy being kids and have fun. What stands out most is how engaged the teachers are, especially with parents who want to take an active role in their children’s education. We feel supported, involved, and genuinely part of something special.

As a former student who has younger siblings graduating in the coming years, I am proud of the improvements BAHS has made in its functioning! When I attended, the school seemed bereft of competent, caring, professional teachers. Sure, there were a few, but most were incompetent, or uncaring, or unprofessional, or any combination of the three. The ones who were all three were beneficial to my educational growth, so I commend and thank them for that. It seems to me now that BAHS has gone through radical change to be more inclusive of all students, caring, understanding, and hard-working (on the ends of students, teachers, and faculty alike). The school was almost shut down a few years back, but it appears their second chance was a good investment. I wish I could give 5 stars, but there are areas of improvement that still need focus and attention.
