I have two in school here, and both have learning differences. The teachers and administration are great to work with.

We look forward to the day we no longer have children in this district. We graduated from this school district. Our adult daughter graduated from here. Our son is about done. Over three generations of our family have experienced the good ole' boy system at work. The high school is no exception. If you want your student to have a strong high school experience, go over to Sheridan or take them to a private school in Little Rock.

I am a teacher and a parent here at White Hall Middle School. Most of my fellow teachers are genuinely concerned about the physical, emotional, and educational welfare of the students. We are vigilant about keeping drugs and sexual activity off of our campus. We have counselors, emotional support clubs and numerous extracurricular clubs and activities to keep the kids active and engaged. Our staff is composed of highly qualified teachers and administration that are dedicated to our jobs and responsibility to teach kids and keep them safe in every sense of the word. I have been here since 2019 and I have been a teacher for almost 20 years. I graduated from Pine Bluff High School. I have taught at Dollarway and Watson Chapel Schools as well as a private school in this area. I even taught out of state for a few years and I can without question and honestly state that this is the best school district in the area when it comes to academics and safety of students. My daughter is a product of this school district and did so well that she was awarded a full ride scholarship to U-Ark, Fayetteville...Saving me $27,000 per year in tuition! School is what you make it! It takes hard work and dedication from all three! Parents have the ultimate responsibility of making sure that your kids attend daily, have supplies, and respect those who are trying to help them succeed. Teachers must be knowledgeable, well prepared, dedicated, understanding, and fair. Lastly, the students must be accountable for their own actions. Noone has a greater impact or affect on your life more than your own self! When I moved back home to Arkansas, with my 4th grade daughter, I could have chosen to live, work, and send my child to any school in the area. I am so glad that I chose the White Hall School District. My family and I are African American and I have never personally experienced any racism nor harassment from neighbors, co-workers, police, or anyone in the city. However, I have noticed that the earlier your child joins the district, the easier time they have adjusting to the strict discipline and high expectations that we hold our students to. I would 100% recommend this district.
