"historical downtown is wonderful fun with restaurants, shopping and of course our world famous bath houses/spas; locally speaking the lake is the summer thing to do and our national and state parks make our life in Hot Springs very outdoorsy the new biking trails are a huge bonus and of course Oaklawn for racing and gaming is always a big draw. "
  • Elizabeth L.
"Hot Springs National Park is a great place to visit. Hot Springs Village is the Place to have a family. "
  • Reddenm85
"Our community does not have neighborhood events. We have a safe, quiet neighborhood close to many things."
  • Trulia User
"It is a National Park. It was a meeting place for the Native American Tribes. A Finding Health Place before white people came. It has natural HOT and cold springs that flow from the ground every day of every year. It has bath houses with warm medicinal water from deep deep in the earth, Air is clean. Over the required 100 trees for each person so there is OXYGEN in the air. No gasping for breath. Hot Springs is bordered by a river and water views abound, The horse racing track is very popular. It has no freeway running to it so people do not pass through in droves! Houses run from 5,000, 000 or more down to 45,000 or less. Victorian mansions abound including a 6,000 sq ft 1889 Brownstone where I lived and we had our businesses - The house is now one of several delightful Victorian Bed & Breakfasts. The National Park hugs the original center of town and and the the blocks of houses on the North side that have existed for more than 120 years."
  • Tonya B.
"Very quiet neighbourhood but only a block from Central Avenue and it is a dead end street. We are also located on Lake Hamilton and there is a inexpensive boat launch across the water at a marina!"
  • Cody
"Great tourist town with lots of luster to see. Great dining and attractions all over town. Some areas are rough "
  • Cara C.
"Access to public transportation. Close to many businesses and conveniences. About a ten minute drive to city limits either way - right in the heart of the city."
  • Trulia User
"I don’t commute I no longer work. I retired last year. so the only place I commute to is the Kroger store and I get there pretty easily. it’s about two blocks from here.when I did used to work, I worked in Little Rock. It’s about an hour to get to Little Rock. it’s not as bad now because the freeways finished. I-70 is a nice freeway"
  • Tom S.
"It’s very friendly to dog owners. Every house has a fenced in backyard. The streets are quiet and safe places to walk your fur babies. "
