As a parent of a child with a disability I did not find this school inclusive at all. My child came from her previous school where she was part of a general education classroom with support. I was told that this was not possible at William C Jack elementary and the only placement that they could provide was Cross-categorical Autism classroom. I had an IEP meeting and asked if I could observe the classroom to make sure it was the right placement and was denied at the IEP meeting. I also felt that the team felt that they were gonna make decisions on my child’s placement and my input didn’t matter. Future more they didn’t provide services or honor the previous IEP. My child came home and complained constantly about being hit and kicked by another student while she was in the Autism classroom. The curriculum they provided in the classroom left me feeling disgusted and nauseous.I ultimately removed my child from the school.

My son has been in this school 1 yrs and first year overall I thought this school was great for my son and was reassured that he would be returning, last week of vacation I received a call from the principal and was told that my son will not be returning to this school and got rejected because of insufficient credit and Detentions.... Detentions where given to my child to make up work not because he was given disciplinary action. My son has an IEP and has been on an IEP and I feel like there was discrimination in this matter. The teachers he had didn't seem to show a care for his education. My son has to attend summer school to be able to return to school so he attended and he was still rejected. This school sadly does not have the capability to work with children on an IEP and they unfortunately do not help these children they low grade them to the point my son has to come home almost crying telling me that the teachers call him stupid for not knowing some work problems.
