7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGrant high school was just starting to get better with treatment of students and improve in quite a bit of areas, and I would've recommended the school in the past because Dan Simon was an amazing principal and the school had great art programs and was overall good, until in 2022 the school board began discriminating against students and absolutely destroyed what good remained and ruined the community, they still encourage racism and homophobia. They forced many good educators and staff out, and now most of the newer staff are unprepared or frankly shouldn't be around children. And the new principal at the high school treated students horribly when he was a middle school teacher and now continues to treat students horribly as a principal, but that is another damning choice by the awful school board.
