"I've lived in Warrior/Hayden area for 7 years now. In my experience it's a pretty quiet friendly place. It's typical country type living. From what I've encountered neighbors have basically been great minding their own business but being help when needed. It's a good place to live & raise kids although it definitely needs to catch up with the times as far as being accepting & welcoming to people of all walks of life."
  • Mom of2
"It’s peaceful and safe. I stay to myself. It’s an amazing school zone though! They love and take care of our kids! "
  • 333gloriaz
"I depend on my own car transportation to get to the stores, doctor’s appointments, pharmacy, and anywhere else I need to go. There’s isn’t much traffic and rarely have I been detained because of a traffic jam due to a vehicle accident or weather interference. The traffic for the most part is decent. "
  • 333gloriaz
"I’ve lived here about a year and a half. My Neighbors are friendly and they look out for each other. The neighborhood is quiet and you live in a country- type setting. You can take a walk and enjoy the green belt or walk your dog, watch the birds and feel safe in this neighborhood. There is cattle close by and a nice picturesque lake as you come into our subdivision. I’ve seen people walk to the lake and go fishing. "
  • Kimmiechloelola
"My neighbors look out for me especially if I am sick. They will offer to shop for you and drop it in the porch. They also mind their own business too. "
  • Lizziegordon94
"The neighbors that are across the street are closest to us because of the sizes of properties here. They are also very friendly as well ask others in the neighborhood we’ve met during the HOA sponsored yard sale and other interactions on the Facebook page."
  • Alicialewis1013
"We have several annual community, family friendly events that bring everyone closer together! Multiple churches that host fall festivals or other events in the community as well. "
  • kenneth j. l.
    "live here....13 years...bluff side..BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS..quiet area.."
  • lindamoon63
"I have been here 33 years and this is the place to raise children, Smokerise has there own swimming club and playground, with local churches, community happenings, schools, all close by. Great if you work in Birmingham with the interstate 65 being within a few miles. Smoke rise is located between Cullman and Birmingham making travel accessible for work in either Jefferson or Cullman County. The colleges are great located in Hanceville which is only 25 minutes away. Just a great place, private and friendly. "
  • Rnmom34
"I live here, and love it!! Great not to have to fight traffic everyday!!"
  • Diana B. K.
"You have your space, you have good schools, a few shops nearby and you're just a few exits from restaurants and shopping galore. There's even a park and ride for carpoolers. For Fall, the Pumpkin Patch is just down the street! Wonderful neighborhoods and communities!"
