"Iโ€™ve lived in this neighborhood for 20 years and raised our 3 daughters in Heatherwood! There is a vibrant social committee with events throughout the year like Oktoberfest and a visit from Santa and the Easter bunny! Our block parties are epic and include a lawn mower tractor race with a coveted trophy for the winner! Lots of walking traffic and trails for hiking and fishing! The neighbors look out for each other and my children have made lifelong friendships here! Anyone would be lucky to live in the โ€˜wood! "
  • Nancy Bussiere
"My commute to work is under 15mins. I love the easy access to highways. There is public transportation available but I havenโ€™t used it as of yet"

"Iโ€™ve lived here for 30 years. Home prices continue to go up with the NYC families inching this way causing taxes to get out of control. "
  • Diana
"I see people walking dogs but there is no dog park like in neighboring towns. However, there are many walking trails that you can take your leashed dog to walk in."
  • Elizabeth L.

  • Diana
