The covered front porch has unobstructed views across the Pequea River. From the gazebo and grilling deck, your view is the Susquehanna R. with York County just beyond. A short walk down the lane takes you to a boat club (one of 2) with a boat shed and a launch. Aside from the fishing and water sports, there are the many premium hiking trails plus the "Rails to Trails" for biking enthusiasts. And the cottage has 2 sheds for equipment. In the early 1900's the village of Pequea was a resort town on the Susquehanna. This cottage was built along the trolley lane that brought vacationers to the River View resort. Pequea is only 25 minutes to the cultural hub of Lancaster city with its many diverse restaurants,the Fulton Opera House for shows, the Lancaster Symphony, Gallery Row, Central Market-- and really too many events and features to list. Only 1 3/4 hrs. to center city Philadelphia; 1 1/2 hr. to Wilmington, De.; 1 1/2 hr. to Baltimore/Washington International ; 3 1/2 hrs. by train to NYC. **** Whether a residence or a vacation home, this house has a dream location with River access.
