"I live in one of the most beautiful places in Washington. Imagine stepping back in time to a period when you don't have to lock your house or car, kids can learn to ride a bike on the road and you can walk all day and only see a handful of cars. This lovely 2500 acre island has a one-room school, underground utilities including DSL, daily mail and water taxi service and miles of trails and beaches to explore. Shopping or restaurants consist of picking up a goodie at the community market or having lunch and a milkshake at Alma's Country Store. Entertainment and nightlife is sitting around a bonfire, eating crab or visiting with a neighbor and possibly listening to someone play the guitar or drums. Public transportation is hopping in the back of a pickup that happens to be heading your way. It's really a great place to have for a vacation "getaway" or live here full-time and say goodbye to traffic and stress forever."
