"We have a Generational neighborhood. Back atleast 4 Generations in most all originalfamiles in Piney. We have Always been a Neighboring hood, watching out and helping and loving one another throughout different times and needs. We are the 2nd aging county in our Great State of NC and together is all we know. “ Love Your Neighbor”, that’s who we are and why we remain. We are a Grateful Neighborhood to our Creator, WHO Blesses us Greatly. It’s still one of the Precious Lands Blessed by its’ Creator where we throw up our hands to wave in passing whether on the awesome mountain roads , on the 2nd oldest river on Earth, or just in passing by ones’ home or farm. We are Farmers. Farmer Strong. Family Strong. And Strong in Faith, Hope and Love. Living long happy lives in within and surrounding these Great Blue Ridge Mountains. "
