If you are involved I feel that you will get out what you put in at the school. Advocate for your children, communicate with the educators/ school leaders and be a part of the community. This is not to say that the kids don't need to do their part too, they do. "There is a dog park nearby and frequent dog walkers in the neighborhood. The train whistle may bother some dogs though. "

"I love Ayer! There are some great restaurants in the town center. They do a fireworks display for the 4th of July. There is a commuter line to Boston as well, so it’s real easy to get to and from the city."

"Walk or run WITH your kids on the Rail Trail and they will get used to exercising and enjoy does and gym more in school!"

"Very family friendly, open quiet streets. Active town with many local activities. 1 hr to Boston by commuter rail. Easy 30 minute drive to Worcester with many immensities. New high school to be built this year with recently built middle school. Walk, swim, bike. "
