My children really love going to school here they have done better then when they where in Lewiston, Idaho schools

As a parent of two kids currently attending Tonasket High School, I can honestly say this school has exceeded our expectations in so many ways.One of the biggest reasons we’re proud to be part of the Tonasket community is the agriculture and shop program. Between hands-on welding projects, animal care, and leadership roles in competitions, it’s more than just a class—it’s real-world education that sticks. The shop teachers are incredibly skilled and dedicated, and they treat the students with respect while holding them to high standards. It’s not uncommon for kids to leave Tonasket with certifications and career-ready skills.Another area that impressed us is the variety of electives. Tonasket may be a small-town school, but they offer a surprising range of classes. Both of my kids have taken Spanish, digital media, and even college prep through the GEAR UP program. They’re exposed to college reps, career fairs, and practical planning that helps them think about life beyond high school. It’s not just about test scores here—it’s about preparing well-rounded, capable young adults.And of course, I can’t write this review without mentioning the wrestling program. If you know Tonasket, you know wrestling is a big deal—and for good reason. The coaches have built something really special here. It’s not just about winning (though they’ve brought home multiple state championships!); it’s about discipline, hard work, and heart. The community turns out in full force to support these kids, and watching my son grow through that program has been one of the proudest experiences of my life.Overall, Tonasket High School is a place where kids are seen, challenged, and supported. Whether your student is college-bound, career-focused, or still figuring it out, they’ll find their place here. We’re truly grateful to be part of this school.

I have had one student go through this school. I am doing every thing in my power to make sure my other children do not.
