Over the years, Lincoln had struggled to cope with a changing community and demographic. The past 6 years, we have seen a tremendous change. There is a deep rooted sense of community. Proficiency has gone up significantly and the students are grasping the new Common Core curriculum well. The teachers are some of the best teachers you will find in the region. They have a strong PTA and have a growing Ballet Folklorico group that even performs at Disneyland every year. Lincoln is a hidden gem in PUSD, rich in history and striving for excellence. I highly recommend it.

I dislike this school very much I don't understand the teachers and how they work. They never try to grade work on time. This school is also very small. I don't like how they don't offer many options for a choice of classes. The teachers are very lazy even from honors classes and they allow anyone to ditch because I don't see them take matters into there hands.

As an educator at the SAE, I am inspired by all the amazing academic and arts teachers. They are thoughtful when creating lessons and engaging with students. The SAE provides a welcoming environment with exceptional instruction. Students are encouraged to master and cultivate their artistic skills. The best part is students are provided with unique opportunities to learn and grow.
