Neighborhood Description

Raymus Village was one of the first and nicest home developments of Manteca. The homes are well built, on large lots, with a park in the center. About 20 years ago a "new" section of homes was added, bringing the total homes in this development to a little over 300. We are out in the County, so the sheriff serves our needs and the highway patrol serves our streets. We have a community well and instead of paying a water bill, we pay towards it's maintenance annually on our house tax. Just east of us on Lathrop Road is a fire station and just beyond that is an elementary school, on Austin Road. We have a very strong Homeowner's Association that takes an active roll in keeping our neighborhood nice and sponsor's a family picnic in our park every August on National Night Out. The annual cost of the HOA is currently $65 a year.
