My daughter is in her second year here and I can say it is one of the better high schools in CMS. The few incidents they had were handled promptly and effectively. Teachers are not as involved and it’s harder for the students to contact them if they need something however this school offers a lot both academic and sports.

My son attended Highland Creek Elementary from Kindergarten through 5th grade. Attending this school was like hitting the lottery at a top~rated private school. Thanks to Principal Saxton’s leadership, this school is set up like a healthy family with him as the loving parent whose character and values impact every aspect of the school’s environment. The teachers care and encourage students to strive for excellence. Mr. Anderson ensures order and safety. There is joy among the student body due to Principal Saxton and the teachers creating an attitude of oneness. HCE helped give my son a great start in life and prepared him for the increased responsibility of middle school. Thank you Principal Saxton, Ms. Bullis, Ms Kern, Ms. Knight, Ms. Essler, Ms. Wright, Ms. Burnett, Ms. McNinch, Ms. Judd, Mr. Anderson, Debbie in the front office and all of Highland Creek staff for giving my son Layden such a positive and memorable experience. My prayers are with you and may God continue to bless you and this school.

Hi, I’m a former student of Ridge Road Middle School, and I want to share my experience. The school was very different from what many parents might expect. Students struggled to learn because some teachers were often disengaged, using their phones, eating, or talking about students instead of teaching. There were frequent fights, and many students were harassed without effective intervention.Several teachers left due to student behavior, and many of the remaining staff did not seem adequately prepared or qualified to handle the environment. Based on what I experienced, I would not recommend this school for students.
