"A car is a must for most as only a few buses come through the area, and travel time to Madison and other areas would be immense at peak hours. Also not any “quick” ways out unless you’re headed for the interstate and take the back roads. Most other roads are 25mph with many stop signs and school crossings along the way."

"McFarland has an amazing school system. Parents quite engaged with teachers. All schools within biking distance. House backs to 6 acre park with walking path, soccer, play area and small shelter. Friendly neighborhood. Bike friendly. Two blocks from countryside."

"Great location near Madison. Nice community, small enough to be intimate but has everything to offer. Community sits on a lake so there are plenty of things to do. Lots of parks. Close to Madison for shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Convenient location."

"Excellent forested and crime-free area just 1/2 mile from a large, beautiful lake, modern new library and municipal buildings, restaurants, etc. Lots of village parades, festivals, dinners, etc. and only 2 miles from Madison for more "big city" fun."
