"Living here for 4 months now. There is a mix of about 50/50 native and from away. Traffic is a problem on Route 1 through town. There is a market, a tavern with good food, an excellent pizza place, a coffee shop, a gas station, post office, hair salons, schools and fire station, police station, public boat landing. lots of grand old houses. Great road plowing. It is 5 minutes to Lowes, Wal-Mart, Cinema, Rockland, 10 minutes to Home Depot, bigger grocery stores and just about anything else you need. 90 minutes to Portland"
