About this House

Hi,

A single room is currently available in the Bushrod area of North Oakland. It is a garden level, 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment that gets a ton of natural light. There is a beautiful backyard with a garden and redwood tree perfect for relaxing during the pandemic. The place was fully renovated in 2017 so everything is still in good condition with new bathroom and kitchen finishes. Check out the pictures to see for yourself. Furniture, TV, and sound system is provided. Washer and dryer is in the unit.

The apartment is in a great location that is safe and centrally located. It is a 12 minute walk to the Asby BART station great for commuters or weekend trips into the city. It is equidistant between downtown Oakland and Berkeley giving you close access to both. Bushrod Park is one block. Also tons of restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops on Telegraph and College Ave are within easy walking distance. Street parking is very easy and will never have trouble finding a spot right in front of the apartment. More importantly the greatest grocery store on the planet is nearby, Berkeley Bowl. You don't know good produce until you've checked it out, trust me.

The room is $1,500/month however this does not include additional minimal monthly expenses which will be split 50/50 (e.g. utilities, internet). Security deposit is $1,500. Water and trash is covered by landlord.

I am a guy in his late twenties working in real estate, fine with either a guy or girl as a roommate. Sorry but no cats and dogs allowed per the landlord.
