I have always thought Onsted was a great comm. for my children to grow up in. I have been nothing but impressed with absolutely everything! From the teachers to the custodial staff. Everytime I am in the buildings I notice how friendly the custodial staff is and how clean the buildings are!

"Safe, friendly and pet appreciated place. Close to all lakes for great summer fun. Good schools, though mine were older when we moved there and never attended Onsted schools. But Good Friday football home town. "

"People are so friendly and it has such small town charm. I moved to this area a year and a half ago and can’t imagine ever going back to the city. "

"Everything is a drive from our house. The closest thing is a gas station / convenience store that’s more than a mile away. Larger stores like Walmart and Lowe’s are 20+ minutes away. If you want to go to COSTCO, it’s 50 minutes each way. "
