The reviews mean nothing. Every person EXEPT maybe the few that saw the “good” statistics of the school do not do good. Bad influence. Metal detectors for guns and vapes at front that do bad job. Teachers make hard to learn. Building also smells and escalators always broken.

This is by far THE worst school I’ve ever worked at. I was a long term sub several years ago and was regularly bullied by students. Students bullied each other - it was a hostile environment. I was forced to raise a girl’s grade from a 94 to a 95 so that she could get into the high school of her choice even though her work was not on grade level. Admin never gave any real solutions to the students abhorrent behavior. Steer clear of this place.

My grands are in Pre and K programs at the school. Families are also highly involved in a good way. The school is very good at communicating with parents. Both girls are happy and the one in K is reading and writing stories. They also study science and work quite a bit on math. The Pre class even had a fashion week show at the school with their own creations. It was really well done. Their classes have many children from other countries who have professional parents who share their work with the kids. The children in the classes appear to work well together. My daughter went to an excellent country day school as a child and this school appears to have few deficiencies. I do think the influx of children from unstable situations could be a problem but so far the teachers do a great job with the groups as a whole and the individual children. The classes are a bit larger but their teachers have really good skills. My daughter and her husband are very happy with the school and the girls are excited about future projects. The school won a Blue Ribbon this year which was a big deal. They were chosen from public and private schools.
