Boswell is a great school! The academics are amazing. The counselors stay on top of their students to make sure they are working hard and excelling.They have had many more fights this past year than they have before where it involved weapons and for that reason we took our kids out early on those days for safety reasons.Now if you want your child involved in sports, Boswell is hard to get into sports. It is all about politics and who you know here. You have to be with the in-crowd or friends with the coaches or on select teams even to make the cut. It is like that for volleyball, baseball, basketball and football. It has discouraged a lot of kids from participating in school activities as well as functions. There are a lot of kids with a lot of talent but they can't showcase it because they never make it past the "tryouts".

The educational standards at this school are alarmingly low, and I feel my child isn’t truly learning. The way the material is presented seems overly complicated, turning what should be simple concepts into confusing lessons that hinder students' ability to understand and retain information. Additionally, there’s little to no homework, further limiting their ability to reinforce what they’ve learned. Despite my child receiving excellent grades, they seem to have learned very little. How is this possible?The arts are almost entirely neglected—art and music are combined into one class—and many teachers seem burnt out and uninspired. I regret purchasing a home in this district. Despite paying exorbitantly high taxes, the schools remain underfunded and fail to provide the quality education expected.

Overall, this is just your typical school, nothing special about it, but my classmates from my experience (may change for future students) don't seem that eager to learn, but the teachers are very helpful and provide the minimum resources for what students need to use and learn. Advanced classes only go a bit faster in the work than on-level classes, except for advanced math. People can be a bit tough though, and some people just hate everything in their life, so they just go out of their way to bully others. All in all, I believe that this school is okay for those who just need their children to have the bare minimum, so I am kind of mixed with this school.
