After you've settled into the Inn and relaxed in the inviting living room, you'll want to step outside and enjoy the beautiful gardens. As you attempt to take it all in, you'll have access to comfortable seating areas, as well as a gazebo on the shore, for your enjoyment. From there, you can watch the wildlife, enjoy the Pond, and fish, boat, or just relax . . . .

This stately and spacious plantation-style home was designed with attention to detail and craftsmanship. As you tour the BEAUTIFUL Inn, you almost feel as if you're strolling through a well-appointed museum--complete with tasteful antique décor and furnishings, throughout. The home includes two large suites with fabulous views of the famous and tranquil Pond. The pillars in the master suite were actually used in the movie set for "Cleopatra." On occasion, you may discover an arrowhead or two in the spring-fed creek, as history indicates that Indian tribes used to winter in the Inn's backyard!

"Marshfield is a good family town close enough to the big city to not miss out,but far enough away that you don’t have to worry about hooligans "
  • HappyCaMper
"I feel that marshfield is a good place to live, cause it’s a smaller town. We have a fair, rodeos, truck pulls, tractor pulls, demolition derby. "
  • Natasha D.
"Many people drive to work in Springfield. It's about 30 minutes away if you take the interstate or 45 minutes if you take the outer road (Route 66). It's not bad unless there's ice."
  • Ashley H. B.
"Its awful. If you want any real shopping it’s a 30min drive minimum. I have to drive 45-50min away for work. The only reason I live here is because the schools are good. But I’m moving to Washington State soon so it doesn’t matter. "
  • Ashley H. B.
"The fire department brings Santa and Mrs Clause to the hood and that’s cool. But really I hate the neighborhood I live in. The kids here are awful and I can’t let my kids out to play with them which leaves them cooped up and bored. "
  • Danielevan417
"they do have movies in the park similar to a drive-in you just bring a blanket come sit down and enjoy a movie as a community"
  • Mrumfelt13
