9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have had an amazing experience at HSES. My daughter is wrapping up her Kindergarten year and we have had nothing but positive experiences with her teacher and the administration! The new principal is wonderful, friendly, and cares deeply about the success of her students. Any issues are dealt with swiftly, and the communication from the school to parents has been excellent. My daughter goes to school excited to learn every day. As a parent, I am so thankful she feels safe and happy at school, not to mention how much she has learned and grown over this past year. I have nothing but great things to say about this school!Parent Review3y ago18 Reviews - Lufkin Road Middle

"Sunset Oaks is the quintessential family neighborhood. We recently moved in and were warmly welcomed by our neighbors. Kids are playing in the neighborhood daily, and bikes out front indicate their whereabouts. The Halloween decorations, combined with the lights on almost every house during the holiday season, create a festive atmosphere. This is an incredible neighborhood. "
