Overall, my time at the school was okay. From 5th-6th grade there had been a few fights. Most of my teachers were pretty good, 6th grade was pretty scary because of the teachers, and the kids there were okay.

This school is a terrible place. I had my daughter go here for her 7 grade year and she would come home all bruised and scratched. She always said that when he got bullied and told the teachers all they did was make him sign a paper and that was it. My daughter almost lulled herself and said that the school made her feel more horrible than she already did. And when she talked to the counselors they made a big deal and checked her bag. She told me that the PE teachers were both mean. She said they made her cry by calling her useless. She also told me they still made her run even though many kids fell and hurt themselves.

I went to this school as a sophomore in 2011 and I got expelled for something so little. But now we are in 2023 and this schools faculty does not care anymore. There is no punishments for the fights, for the drugs. There is absolutely no punishment for the bad behavior at school. These kids smoke and do drugs on campus and as a concerned parent of my child making poor decisions at school they did nothing to help me keep my kid away from it. I tried independent studies, I tried a transfer, I’ve tried talking to the dean, I’ve tried calling head of administration and nothing I get nothing. Independent studies is too full, apparently wanting to transfer my son for behavior problems isn’t a good enough reason to transfer him. They no longer have iss. The school system is a joke. When a dean can laugh in your face and say oh kids smoke here all the time. That’s a problem!
